How to practice

  1. 1.Sit upright, shoulders relaxed.
  2. 2.Inhale slowly through the nose.
  3. 3.Hold the breath in, without strain.
  4. 4.Exhale slowly through the nose.
  5. 5.Hold the breath out. Repeat.

Adjust

Start at 3-3-3-3 if 4 feels tight. With practice, lengthen all four phases to 5 or 6.

Take care

If the holds feel strained, shorten them — comfort over precision.
